Does My Car Have a Recall?

As long as your vehicle is properly registered, you’ll be notified by the manufacturer if a Volkswagen recall is issued. These notices generally arrive by mail. If your car is less than 15 years old, you can enter your car’s VIN on the Volkswagen website to find out if your car has a recall. You can find your car’s VIN on the lower driver’s windshield corner or the sticker on the narrow side of the driver’s side door.

Why is There a Recall on My Car?
